What class do I show in?

I think it is worth mentioning how it is decided whether you are Junior or Senior in the Showmanship Program. Our rules state “Must be between the ages of 7 and 18 years old as of January 1 of the current year” The rules then tell you the class breakdown: Junior (7 to 13)and Senior (14-18). Let me try to make it clearer:

JUNIOR (Between 7 and 13)
If you were 6 on January 1 this year, even though you will turn 7 this year, you are not eligible to be part of the showmanship program. (We'll watch for you next year!)
If you were 13 on January 1 this year even though you will turn 14 this year, you are considered a Junior and will be part of that class.

SENIOR (Between 14 and 20)
If you were 18 on January 1 this year, even though you will turn 19 this year, you are considered a Senior and will be part of that class.
